The Scmidt fam. . .

. . .together again.
I've known Katie forever. We grew up by each other and her mom was one of my "spiritual advisors". I blame her for the way I turned out. :) Her mother has also saved my life (seriously) more than once giving me IV's at home so I didn't have to stay in a hospital. Sure do love her.
It was cold outside. In Utah. I know, weird. So we hung out in the JSM building and briefly ventured outside. Followed by a small paparazzi. Seriously. A small crowd was taking pictures of these little girls. You can probably see why. It felt like I was back in Hawaii with my two little blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls followed by half the island of Japan snapping pictures.
Katie and Dean, I wish you nothing but the best!

Tell Lilly Hi for me. :)

Ty and Melanie

Ty is (or I guess was) my brother's roomate and longtime friend. My brother just got booted to make way for the new lady friend. Melanie. And they (Ty and Melanie, not Ty and my brother) seem right for each other. I found a new really dumpy location that I love. And they were the perfect couple to take there for a debut shoot. Melanie, I hope your cut healed, and I hope neither of you left with some scary bacteria embedded in your skin. :) Thanks for a fun night.

There's a good chance this couch had some sort of bugs breeding in it, but they sat anyway.

Lives were risked during this shot.

Happy Good Friday and Easter Weekend to all.

Engagements

I spent the day soaking up as much sun as possible before the super awesome Utah weather kicks in and it gets freezing again. Now that we have kicked off the summer right sporting our first farmer tans, I'm ready to get back to editing.
More of these two soon.

What happens in Vegas. . . .

We spent the weekend in Vegas with some family. And this was as crazy as we got. A day in a hotel pool we weren't staying at in 50 degree weather. I sat in a lounge chair with my hoodie on all day wrapped up in a blanket. But the kids--it's never too cold for the kids to swim.

These are all straight out of the camera. No photoshop.
