Two down. . .a few more to go.

When I started on my photography adventure, I quickly determined the fastest, most efficient way to learn, is to learn from others. Trial and error has its purpose, but if I can find those people in the industry who really know their stuff, and learn from them, I'd be much better off. So I went on a quest to find some of the best photographers in Utah and see what I could learn from them.
So far, I've been able to second-shoot with two of them and I learned more by spending one day with them than I ever could have reading books or floundering around on my own.
I've already mentioned Rebekah Westover who is insanely talented and has been a tremendous help to me.
Now, I had the pleasure of second-shooting with none other than Kate Benson who is equally as talented as Rebekah and one of the nicest people I've ever met. After sitting in the car with her for 5 minutes, it felt like we'd known each other forever. And you should see this girl work the flash on her camera. Pure awesomeness.
There are a few more photographers on my list who I'd like to shoot with. Hopefully I'll be making posts about them in the future. :)
Here's one from the wedding I shot with Kate last Thursday. More to come later.
