Christmas cards 2009 and "Mini" sessions

I decided to offer Christmas cards this year. Just 'cause. And yes, it's only September. But why not plan ahead and check one more thing off your list before the holiday craziness sets in.

Here they are:

DETAILS:
**All cards are 5x7 and are double-sided. They are NOT printed on photo paper. They're press-printed on a pearl matte paper (it's thick). They're cool. Trust me.
**They come with envelopes.
**The text and color of text is editable as are some of the layouts.
**The cards come in increments of 25. So if you need 20, you still order 25.
**You must use pictures I have taken of your family (I can't make exceptions on this)
**Cost is $2.00 per card.
**Order deadline is NOVEMBER 5th. Because I want to enjoy my holidays too. :)
And if you've made it this far, I'm also doing TWO "MINI-SESSIONS" for Christmas.
Session details:
**$265
**45 minute session
**15 of your favorite shots on a high-res disc in color AND black and white with print release
**25 Christmas cards (your pick of one of the card designs above)
**Can be used for family, kids, newborn, or anything else you want pictures of.
**First come first serve. I only have time for a few spots this year so if you want one, e-mail me asap.
**Date and time to be worked out between us.
Yea for fall and the holiday season!

Photographing Kids.

If I had to pick just one thing to photograph, it would probably be kids. They're unpredictable, always on the move, and they make me laugh. Hanging out with Cam for a few hours made me so much more excited to have a boy of my own. Boys are awesome.

Photoshop.

Ever wonder how much impact Photoshop has on a picture? Here's a small example.

Straight out of the camera shot.

And after a little Photoshop love. Basically juts a contrast boost. I didn't do much. Definite improvement (even with the muted colors from blogger--boo).

The B family.

Another awesome family from my neighborhood. 3 of the coolest kids around, a dad who obviously loves his kids, and a mom who is one of the most genuinely nice people I've ever met.

Some cute kids at a recent reception.
