The D Til's.

We did this last December. I forgot I never posted it.

These guys are practically my in-laws. And they're a lot of fun when trespassing.

Don't miss this one.

Just finished reading this. Definitely worth your time. I'd say it's a "must read" for its insight into homelessness and mental illness. So good.

You can get it here.

More of Sadie and Shane.

My husband's busy boxing my 4-year old on the Wii (and they're both talking trash) so I have a few minutes to blog.

Sadie and Shane. Where to begin. This day was a little unusual. The couple wasn't getting married that day. Just having the lunch and reception in Bountiful. The following week they were going to Nauvoo (where they met) to be married there. So they put in the long hard day, and in the end, they still weren't married. Lame for them.

We only had twenty minutes (twenty minutes?) to take portraits (no pressure, right?) so we did them on the way from the brides house to the place of the reception (which was approx. 20 seconds away). We walked down the road and snapped pics on the way. It's probably okay that we only had a short time because it was ridiculously cold. Fingers frozen, eyes watering, can't breathe, cold. And there was Sadie, in her short-sleeved dress. The things we do when getting married. Craziness.

So, so cold.

I'm not sure there's a serious bone in Shane's body, so this picture is quite reflective of his personality. Sadie has a life of laughs ahead of her.

He's singing to her while they danced. These two have killer voices.

Huge props to the cake makers who stayed up all night working on it. ;)

Congrats Sadie and Shane. I'm glad everyone survived hauling out the enormous trees. Hopefully the crazy James' adventures will carry over into your new family.

Sadie and Shane

If someone could tell me how to get BOTH my girls to sleep through the night and stay healthy, I'd probably pay you a million dollars.
Until then, blogging takes a back seat because I'm bleary-eyed and my head is killing me.
More of this super awesome couple soon. I hope. :)

6 months

Such a great age. They can sit, but they can't get away. And I really want to squeeze her cheeks. Too bad you're "done", Heather. You breed cute kids.

We did these at the baby's house. SUCH a good way to do kid portraits. They're comfortable and you get them in their "element".
